For personal purposes Baku decided to set up a Subsonic music streaming service. With an Android app, it behaves just like Spotify and caches last played songs.
Due to strict firewall rules, Subsonic's standard port (4040) is unavailable. However, nginx is used as a proxy to allow access through music.sylphe.fr.
Due to ffmpeg being discontinued on Debian Stable, avconv is used for transcoding.
Subsonic is run as a daemon with a dedicated non-privileged user. Data is not yet backed up
